Many fine translations and commentaries, and the wisdom of teachers across traditions, remain the best companions for a full engagement with the text. We encourage you to make room for those sources; IndicLens is meant to walk beside that study, not replace it.
IndicLens helps at the point of need for a thoughtful reflection when life or study raises a question you would welcome an answer to in that moment. Search, generation, and optional narration rely on advanced technology with meaningful running costs — which is why we use a paid credit system, not a subscription.

You must be signed in to buy credits. Credits are added to your account after payment is confirmed. Packs are prepaid units for using the Service only — they are not access to the Bhagavad Gita text itself, have no cash value, and are non-transferable between accounts. Credits do not expire while your account remains active.
Per-credit pricing and pack totals may be revised to reflect ongoing increases in underlying infrastructure and API costs. Your existing credit balance is not reduced when prices change; only future purchases and new usage rates apply.

Indian customers pay in INR through Razorpay. Each credit is priced at ₹7 before GST — packs use the same per-credit rate with no volume discount. A tax invoice or payment receipt is sent to your sign-in email where GST applies (service category SAC commonly used: 998433 — confirm with your CA).
How credits work
A credit is a prepaid unit to ask a question on IndicLens. You receive a Gita-grounded answer — what we call a reflection on the site. Credits are added to your account when you buy a pack (or get 3 starter credits on first sign-up). They pay for search, generation, and narration only — not access to the Bhagavad Gita text itself. There is no monthly plan: you buy a pack when you need more, and unused credits stay in your account while it remains active.

Starter sign-up credits are enough for three text questions, or one voice question with one credit left. Each credit currently corresponds to ₹7 of service use. A voice question uses 2 credits (₹14) because it includes verse retrieval, answer generation, and text-to-speech narration. A text-only question uses 1 credit (₹7). When you tap Listen now or use the mic, 2 credits are used once for that question; replays of the same question do not charge again.

Purchase & policies
At checkout
The payment screen will repeat the pack name, number of credits, currency, tax (if any), and total before you confirm. By paying, you agree to this page, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.
No subscription
IndicLens sells one-time credit packs, not recurring subscriptions. There is no monthly plan to cancel. Once payment succeeds, credits are added to your account immediately. If you do not want to buy again, simply do not purchase another pack when your balance runs out. If you abandon checkout before payment is confirmed (for example you close the screen or UPI is not completed), no charge should go through; pending bank holds usually release within a few days.
Refunds
Completed purchases are not refundable. Credits are digital content delivered to your account as soon as payment succeeds. We do not offer refunds because you changed your mind, did not use the credits, or were unhappy with an answer. You can stop buying further packs at any time.
We will only correct payment errors in exceptional cases, such as:
- Payment taken, credits not added — we will verify with Razorpay or PayPal and either add the credits or refund through the original payment method.
- Duplicate charge — we will refund the duplicate after verification.
- Failed payment — if Razorpay or PayPal marks the payment as failed, you should not be charged. If your bank or UPI app still shows a hold, it usually reverses automatically; contact us if it does not clear within a reasonable time.
- Wrong credit amount — if our records show a clear billing mistake (for example a double charge for the same question), we will correct it after verification.
For any of the above, use our contact form, choose Billing as the subject, and include your sign-in email plus the Razorpay or PayPal payment ID from your receipt. Starter sign-up credits are free and are not refundable.
Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer. We log payments and credit grants by account and payment ID. If you file a chargeback without contacting us first, we may suspend the account while the dispute is investigated. If a chargeback is decided in your favour, any unused credits from that payment may be removed from your account. If it is decided in our favour, the payment stands.
Receipts and records
After a successful payment, credits appear in your account balance. Razorpay and PayPal send payment confirmations to your email. We retain payment references (amount, currency, pack, payment ID, credits granted, date) for billing support and legal record-keeping. We do not store your full card number, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials on IndicLens servers — payment card and banking details are handled by Razorpay or PayPal. Usage disputes
If a credit use looks wrong (for example, you believe you were charged twice for the same question), note the question, time, and balance shown in your account before contacting us via the contact form. We log access charges per question. For payment errors, see the section above.
Price changes
We may revise how many credits an action uses, or pack prices, to reflect increases in underlying infrastructure and API costs. Your existing credit balance is not reduced when prices change; only future purchases and new usage rates apply. Purchases are governed by the policy in effect at the time of payment.

FAQs
Is this a subscription?
No. Each pack is a one-time purchase. There is no monthly plan to cancel. When your credits run out, you can simply stop buying — or buy another pack if you want to continue asking questions.
When do credits appear?
Immediately after successful payment, credits are added to your signed-in IndicLens account. Razorpay or PayPal emails you a receipt.
Can I get a refund?
Generally no. Completed purchases are not refundable, including unused credits. Refunds are only considered for clear payment errors (for example payment taken but credits not added, or a duplicate charge). See Purchase & policies above or FAQ — billing & refunds.
